Please be aware that I rarely let Kittens go as breeders so if you are interested please give me as much information about yourself and your breeding plans as you can.

If you are thinking about going into Chocolate and Lilac's please be aware that you will not be doing the best by the breed if you put Chocolate and lilac's together, the gene pool is generally small and these cats need to be put out to more traditional bloodlines to help widen the gene pool, built better, healthier cats and to increase type.
The ideal way to breed Chocolate and Lilac's is to have Carriers of Chocolate and to work with them and to put your Chocolate or lilac to a Blue or Seal and to then keep a choc carrier with a better stronger pedigree.
I am more then happy to discuss this if you need more information.
I will only sell to breeders who early desex every pet kitten before they leave home, this is not negotiable ever. By desexing every kitten before it leaves home there is never the worry that a kitten will end up with a back yard breeder or a kitten mill and will enjoy the best life possible for them.
I am in the process of DNA testing the last of my breeding cats and believe that every cattery should be doing the same, the DNA testing is cheap, quick and easy and now that it is so readily available everyone should be doing it to keep the breed strong.
There has been a few cats come back to be carriers of HCM and even one that is a +/+, If we do not test our cats these diseases that we thought were gone will be back if force in no time.
I have also found there is a new condition called MPSM that some of the Chocolate and lilac lines are showing up with. I am not sure of the full effect of this condition but I know that now I can test for it I am planning my breeding program around it and hope to have all cats free of being a carrier of it in the next year or so. There is no risk that I know of for pet kittens carrying this it is only a problem to breeding stock.
I would not purchase a cat with Chocolate or lilac in its lines with out this test
The only place that tests for it is http://www.catgenes.org/index.html You will get a full DNA screen there for only US$39
Once a cattery has tested all of their breeding cats they will generally no longer need to test offspring once they have clear test results.
